Wynland Laboratory is a SANAS accredited laboratory (ISO 17025:2005) and situated in Wellington.
It is an independent laboratory with its core business to provide an effective service to the wine, grapevine, fruit, food and bottled water industry in South Africa.
We are a member of the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists and offer our clients the full scope of routine Microbiological analysis, as well as Chemical analysis of food, wine, beverages, dried fruit, fruit pulp, herbs, olive oil and water.
The laboratory manufactures a full range of standardized chemicals for wine analysis (with certificates of analysis on request) and prepares customised formulated chemicals according to the client’s needs. Wynland Laboratories are also contract manufacturers for reselling purposes. We also supply glassware and equipment required for wine analysis.
We test allergens (e.g. soy, gluten) and toxins (e.g. aflatoxins, histamin), as well as ELISA virus testing of grapevines, pome and stone fruit.
Specialized grafting wax for the vine nurseries is also formulated and distributed.
Wynland Laboratories are the distributor of Megazyme test kits and other products. Megazyme is renowned for its Advance Bio-Analysis Test Kits for the Food, Feed, Fermentation, Wine, Brewing and Dairy Industry.

Wynland Laboratory is also registered at the Department of Agriculture as a testing laboratory for virus testing of plant material.
We write your manuals for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005, HACCP, GMP and others. We also do hygiene training of staff.
