Logistical and financial management functionality developed for the exporter. This function set allows the exporter to manage logistical units from farm to port of destination. Features include estimates, order processing, intakes, stock control, electronic load-out instructions, quality control and payment administration.

Label printing functionality that has been developed in line with fruit industry and GSI standards. It includes pallet, carton, punnet and thrift bag printing.

Software functionality intended to satisfy the farmer’s requirements with regards to label printing and document generation. It electronically provides railings information to other solutions within the logistical chain. Exporter payments can be reconciled by the producer.

Pack-line functionality suited for the packhouse environment. Real-time features include production run setup and information, bin stock management, degreening, packer transaction management, material inventory control and various levels of reporting. Batch scanning and wireless (Radio Frequency) technology integrate seamlessly with the functionality.

Warehouse and stock management functionality that includes intakes, stock-on-hand, dispatches, protocol management, label printing, invoicing and reporting. Customers with high throughput can activate advanced functionality that includes order based stock reservation and directed forklift movements for increased efficiency and accuracy. Batch-, wireless- and 2D barcode scanning is an enabling technology. General and bulk cargo is also catered for.

PalPort is an extension of PalStore that focuses on conventional- and container vessel loading and providing mates receipts.

This solution is made up of three services that compliment Paltrack™:

• ICDS (Information Collection and Delivery Services) – A service that consolidates and distributes electronic data sourced from various activity points in the logistical chain. This information is timeously provided to relevant parties to facilitate operational activities and support management reporting.
• A data warehouse that enables data mining of information received from ICDS via an internet browser. Standard security protocols are enforced to control data access.
• CCR (Central Code Registration) offers a mechanism to centrally register and maintain master data used throughout the industry. The emphasis is on registering codes once and automated distribution to all thereafter. It can be used an s a proactive tool in working towards greater data accuracy through validation at source to highlight possible problems.
