As a member of the VIA, the clones developed by Vititec (Pty) Ltd are registered at the VIA and the plant material thereof are issued as "SA Certified" from approved sources. We are an SABS ISO 9001: 2000 certified organisation. Nucleus, foundation and mother block sources are inspected continuously by Vititec's team of viticultural technicians for deviations, trueness to cultivar and type and phytosanitary symptoms. Sampling for serological virus tests and quality control are done regularly. |

Products & Services: A list of vinifera and rootstock clones that test free from harmful viruses is available on our website. All clones have been assayed by biological indexing, ELISA and ISEM. The material test free from Grapevine leafroll viruses I, II and III and Grapevine fanleaf. All material goes trough hot water treatment of 50 degree’s Celsius for 30 min before grafting and grafted vines are planted in new soils in isolated nurseries. Hot water treatment on the grafted vines is available on request. |
