Agricol

Agricol is a market leader seed company with an extended network of branches and agents all over South Africa. Our activities include alternative crops like forage seed and agronomy crops like cereals, canola and hybrid sunflower. Rotation crops contribute to solutions for farmers and open up wide markets for them.

Other divisions include Turf Grasses, Bird Seed and the Confectionary trade.

We are on the forefront of seed technology in that we market the best material from Europe and the USA.

As a market-driven organisation, it aims - through service excellence, value added products and pro-active research and marketing- to achieve consistent customer satisfaction.
Agricol

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT is a high priority at Agricol so that not only seed, but also knowledge and information are being marketed. New products are developed by means of our own breeding programmes, as well as in co-operation with many of its overseas counterparts.

PRODUCTION: Agricol's Production Division has the necessary knowledge to its disposal to produce seed of the highest quality that complies with the strict SANSOR certification standards, Phytosanitary specifications and other quality standards.

QUALITY CONTROL: Apart from the strict quality control during abovementioned production- cleaning and packing procedures, Agricol's "in-house" government approved laboratory is well known throughout the South African Seed Industry. Germination and purity tests not only assure clients that the products comply with the minimum specifications, but also assure that Agricol maintain their high standards.
