Grain SA and TAU SA working  together more closely

Grain SA agreed to contribute an ex gratia amount to selected agricultural organisations.  TAU SA is one of the organisations which will benefit from this.

Both Grain SA and TAU SA want to see that agriculture in South Africa stays productive and therefore decided to work more closely together and again commit to food security.

As a result of a degree of alienation over time, members of TAU SA identified a need to address grain issues. This was done through a Grain Forum. In terms of the renewed co-operation between these organisations, the Grain Forum will discuss these matters directly with Grain SA who will then take it further.

Both Dr. Kobus Laubscher and Mr. Bennie van Zyl (CEO’s of Grain SA and TAU SA respectively) expressed their satisfaction regarding the new agreement. TAU SA also expressed their gratitude for the financial contribution made by Grain SA.
